The kids did a nice job staying in there, defensively. I thought our kids stepped up to the challenge.

His contributions are overlooked. He plays the quarterback role nicely, and that allows our other guys to do other things. I think we're better with him in there.

I'm trying to get myself a little bit more knowledge about football. Re-connecting with the UH program is probably one of the best things I've done so far.

It's big for us to be 2-0 in the conference with two road wins. The conference is basically even, and we really think 8-2 could win it. So we're thrilled to be where we are.

That is enough turnovers for at least two games. We have struggled with our passing and with making good decisions with the ball. But give credit to Naperville North. They did a fantastic job defensively.

They did some of the stuff to us tonight that they did to us three months ago (a 77-57 Lockport victory in the WJOL Thanksgiving Classic), like blocking shots. They made the game more difficult. Whenever we got close enough to get over the hump, we seemed to be a step slow going to a loose ball. And then you have to give Lockport credit. They hit some big shots, did some good things.

That play gave us a big lift going into the locker room. We were playing more like a team tonight and that is great to see.
